Return and reproduction of the Wookchat Shrike in 2025
The Woodchat Shrike Lanius senator is in serious decline in France, whose range is shrinking and fragmenting.
This species likes meadows and woods, open formations dotted with shrubs and trees.It can be found in orchards, some hedgerows and, in Mediterranean areas, in scrubland and dry maquis.
