Nesting Crag Martin in 2024
The Crag Martin Ptyoprogne rupestris usually nests in cliffs, crags or river gorges, but also on vertical slopes of quarries and on buildings, bridges or dams.
The species tends to settle in new areas and now breeds in the region Grand-Est for example. The size of the population is still largely unknown : 30-50,000 pairs were supposed to breed in France between 2005 and 2012. What about today?
