Return of the Cuckoo in 2025

 

The Cuckoo Cuculus canorus is a migratory bird that winters in the savannahs of sub-Saharan Africa. It returns to Europe in March.

 

Typically, the flow of migration first concerns the Atlantic seaboard. This migration pattern contrasts with that of the Barn Swallow, which appears first in the Mediterranean basin
