Autumn records of Caspian Terns in 2020

Between mid-July and early October, the breeding population of Caspian Terns Hydroprogne caspia migrates from the Baltic Sea towards West Africa. During this period, the tern can be seen almost in any type of lakes inland, but the best spots are situated along the coast, between the Camargue and the Montpellier lagoons along the Mediterranean shores and between Loire and Gironde along the Atlantic shore.
